Saturday at the Lakeside
This sounds like a truly perfect night. A complete celebration of life and friendship accompanied by delicious food in an enchanting setting. (Price by individual portion.)
Snacks
Dinner is nothing to rush into. Ease into the evening with "a little something" and a craft cocktail. While dinner is being prepared, why not spend some time soaking in the incredible views with a small smackerel or two at hand?
Starters
Start the dinner out right with a crisp salad or a warm soup to awaken the palate.
Entree
This is the most anticipated part of the meal and it sets the mood for the rest of the menu. Are you looking for something comforting? Something luxurious? Something totally unexpected? Or maybe a little bit of each?
Dessert
What better way to celebrate the sweetness of friendship than with a well-crafted dessert. Hungry or not, this is the point in the night to indulge a little and give into that piece of cake you know you want.
Beverage Options
Good food can certainly stand alone, but that doesn't mean it should have to. If you would prefer to bring your own beverages, that is just fine. If you'd like something designed to accompany the meal or something a little extra and special, here are a few options to consider.
The Journey Church Volunteer Appreciation Banquet
A time devoted to celebrate, in fellowship, the joy of working alongside one another as family, for our Father. An opportunity to serve those who serve so faithfully. Prices are listed per person and based on a minimum order of 30 individual servings (unless marked otherwise).
Starters
These options are designed to be "finger foods" that can be easily held in a napkin or hand while mingling throughout the room with other guests.
Salads and Sides
Salad choices can be used to start the meal prior to the entrée or served buffet style as an entrée accompaniment.
Entrées
Main course menu options, designed to make your guests feel a little extra special.
Sweets and Treats
Something sweet to end a delightful evening.
Beverages
A self-serve beverage station for guests to access throughout the evening.
Miscellaneous
Flannel Fling Before the Ring
A wintery, flannel-clad, olympic celebration of the upcoming wedding day! Prices are laid out per person.
Appetizers
Dinner Buffet
With this option, I'm picturing some really lovely spreads that your guests can enjoy. Everyone can enjoy the variety and take what they like. Or, more probably, try a little bit of everything! This is also where we could really amp up your flannel/wintery theme. Creating pretty food spreads is what I love to do. If you want, I'm happy to set up an elaborately decorated buffet table to tie in. Alternatively, you may already have ideas in place for this or want to keep it simple! This is something we can go over more fully when you're narrowing down the choices.
Table-Side Service
These are slightly more traditional options that would be best cooked on site. Here I would come in, cook, and serve everyone while you enjoy the time with your guests. You don't have to think about a thing!
Desserts
Perhaps the most important of all . . . the sweets!
